After the Angelus prayer, Benedict XVI askes for prayers for world peace

Dec 16, 2007 - 06:28 pm .- At the end of today’s Angelus prayer, the Pope urged that, in this time of Advent, the faithful pray "for a renewed peace in the places of the world that live in conflict." In his greetings to the faithful in French, the Holy Father encouraged them to "to prepare for the coming of the Lord, since those who know the joy of that hope, know it does not disappoint, so renewed, they should pray for peace in the parts of the world in conflict, for all our brothers, especially children, who can benefit from the gift of peace, which we all need."

Christian Joy is possible even in the midst of the dark night of faith, encourages the Pope

Dec 16, 2007 - 11:36 am .- Is it possible to live with Christian joy in a world such as ours?
