Pope urges all people to be open to redeeming power of the resurrected Jesus

Mar 23, 2008 - 09:56 am .- Pope Benedict XVI presided over the solemn celebration of the Easter Vigil at St. Peter’s Basilica on Saturday evening. During the ceremony, which is the highest celebration of the year, he received into the Church, by the Sacrament of Baptism, seven new Catechumens from different parts of the world, included one noted Italian Muslim convert.
