Christians in Nepal defy extremists’ demand to leave country

.- Hindu extremists in Nepal have demanded that the country’s one million Christians leave the country, prompting churches to reject threats of violence. They emphasized that their mission in the country will not change. Last week militants bombed the Catholic cathedral in the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu, killing several people. “We want all the one million Christians out of the country,” their statement said. Members of local churches make up about 2.4 percent of the Nepalese population. There are about 7,000 Catholics in Nepal. The Catholic Church in Nepal is involved in social services with the poor, the sick and the marginalized and is generally well-received by the people. In response to the threats the Christian community, with the support of local authorities, has alerted its members. Christians have taken security measures, with guards being organized to protect their churches. The NDA since its inception has been fighting for the return of the Hindu monarchy which ruled Nepal for centuries, CISA says. They are protesting the democratic secular system and the rise to power of former Maoist groups. The extremist group has already carried out several attacks on Muslims and Christians. Last year, Salesian priest Fr. Johnson Moyalan was killed in an attack. Subscriber comments:

It's scary but inspiring that our fellow Christians are willing to face persecution for the sake of their ministries. And the faith that allows Christians to help those who want them dead is a great example of Love and Charity.

Persecution of the Church is breaking out in MANY places from several groups. THIS ALONE DISPROVES the official Vat. opinion that the Third Secret of Fatima revealed in 2000 is all about the past.

In reality it is the differences in religions that have caused people to try to understand each other. Religion as a result is more of a reason for unity. It is respect for the differences that creates cooperation and a desire to understand each other. The violence always is a result of intolerance,as one group insists on being the bully to the other group. Nobody ever learns from history as these scenes always repeat themselves. It is time for the Catholic Church to be persecuted as it may be the only voice left of faith and reason. The only hope for humanity is in Jesus Christ specifically. He is the way to God through the power of the Holy Spirit as Jesus is the way ,truth and the life!
Keep the faith poor Christian people of Nepal,we are praying with you. PRAYER IS POWER,THE POWER OF LOVE! ADD A COMMENT (Your e-mail will NOT be published):
