Everyone should read "Nostra Aetate," the Vatican II document on Christianity and non-Christian religions. Catholics should read the Vatican II documents.
I urge all non-Christians to take a look at "Nostra Aetate" because it clears up the misconception that people outside of the Catholic Church have in regards to the Catholic faith. Nostra Aetate is very clear about Islam and its principles.

Hopefully when the subject of Islam is discussed the need for reciprocation (treatment of Islam in the West the same as Christianity and Judaism is in Islamic countries) from the Islamic Republics will be discussed and endorsed by the Pope.

I hope this Darwin subject is not in preparation to throw red meat to the myopic religious right. I wish the Holy Father would keep his focus on things with potential answers, like Islam.
