World Meeting of Families 2009 to be held in Mexico City

.- The president of the Pontifical Council for the Family, Cardinal Alfonso Lopez Trujillo, announced at the 5th General Conference of the Latin American Bishops' Council that the World Meeting of Families 2009 will be held in Mexico City. The cardinal made his announcement during his remarks on the family and the challenges and dangers it faces in Latin America. Is Pope Benedict scheduled to personally attend World Meeting of Families, Jan 2009, or will he join us by video/satellite?
