.- At the end of today’s Angelus prayer, the Pope urged that, in this time of Advent, the faithful pray "for a renewed peace in the places of the world that live in conflict." In his greetings to the faithful in French, the Holy Father encouraged them to "to prepare for the coming of the Lord, since those who know the joy of that hope, know it does not disappoint, so renewed, they should pray for peace in the parts of the world in conflict, for all our brothers, especially children, who can benefit from the gift of peace, which we all need." Then greeting the pilgrims who speak Spanish, the Pontiff encouraged them to "live with the joy of the closeness of the Lord, who comes to meet us, full of hope and confidence in your love.” He encouraged them to make their spiritual preparation for Christmas with meditation on the Divine Word, and intensified prayer and works of charity. " In closing, the Holy Father told the English speaking pilgrims that the Third Sunday of Advent is a time to “renew our hope in Christ, the Savior who has been promised to us. As we look forward to his coming may we experience the joy of his salvation.” ADD A COMMENT (Your e-mail will NOT be published):
