Bishop of Juneau appointed to the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings

Vatican City, Nov 20, 2007 / 09:59 am (CNA).- Today the Holy Father appointed Bishop Michael W. Warfel as the bishop of Great Falls-Billings in Montana.

Born in 1948, Warful was ordained in 1980 and was appointed as the Bishop of Juneau in 1996, where he currently serves.

The Diocese of Great Falls-Billings consists of 51,629 Catholics and 74 priests.
