I will be receiving my copy soon. I understand that this is a series of books. I got my copy because I purchased the 1st book so I'm not sure how you can get one unless you write directly to the Vatican press at customercare@scrinium.org

Since the Knights Templars were disbanded and presently are not recognised by the Vatican despite the Chinon Parchment of absolution, what is the point of joining this "Order"? Do Roman Catholics risk excommunication by joining even the ones which have genuine charitable status? I have been made aware that there are many "dodgy" Templar groups too, with a recent Vatican Edict condemning them! What is the Vatican's official stance regarding ANY type of Templar membership?

Its amazing how the Catholic Church so easily forgives itself for atrocities such as the persecution, torchering and killing of the Knights Templar.
It would be interesting to see them also absolve themselves for all the millions of people murdered by the Church in the last 2 millenium also.

Why is only 799 copies being printed? What other things are being suppressed? Where can a copy of this book be purchased?

As a member of Knights Templar, it's good to know that I'm cleared of heresy, especially since I preach and teach orthodox Christianity as an ordained Elder in the UMC! Thanks for clearing our names, Praise the Name above all names, Jesus Christ the LORD of all!!!

Something that has always puzzled me as a observant Catholic: why does the Vatican have "secret archives"?
Haven't we always suspected the Freemasons just for the reason that they act so secretive? Or is this just something that we are finally getting around to cleaning up? Maybe just part of the ongoing housecleaning since that Galileo incident a few years back. Whatever. I just put my trust in Papa that He will take care of me.

This may be in response to the annual campaign by modern-day followers of the Templar tradition.
A letter to the Pope was quoted in The Times newspaper in 2004: "We shall witness the 700th anniversary of the persecution of our order on 13th October 2007," the letter said. "It would be just and fitting for the Vatican to acknowledge our grievance in advance of this day of mourning." On 25 October 2007, exactly 13 days from the morning of the anniversary, an official document will be released by the Vatican absolving the Knights Templar and confirming their innocence.

That's nice... We already know that the most powerful sect of monks in Catholic history was suppressed and tried for heresy. I want to know what the Vatican has of their documentation from before the suppression, from the beginning of the Knights Templar.
