Boston Cardinal “blogging” trip to Rome
Related articles:
.- In his continuing efforts to reach the public and foster a culture of transparency in the Archdiocese of Boston, Cardinal Sean O'Malley has started his own weblog, or “blog” site. The Franciscan-turned-cardinal is thought to be the first cardinal to use such a forum. O’Malley will be writing in the online diary during his 10-day trip to Rome, which began yesterday. This is an outstanding communications tool. His first two entries are basically an online diary which helps you get to know him as a real person. The consistory slide show is fascinating, although some captions could improve it. Sometimes blogs are interactive, i.e. people can say things to the blogger who can respond. This may not be possible with a Cardinal of the Church, but it would add a great deal.
