Pope John Paul II the Great was an even greater Servant of God who lit the spark in Poland and throughout Eastern Europe to help bring down the yolk of darkness and oppression in his former country and all of Eastern Europe. Even greater still the spark he lit touched the hearts and souls of young people around the entire world by giving them the hope, light, love and infinite mercy that only God who created mankind, the earth, and the entire universe and beyond could offer. By visiting the prison at Rebebbia to forgive Ali Agca, the man who shot him on May 13, 1981, Pope John Paul II The Great lived according to what Jesus Christ said: "Forgive and ye shall be forgiven." Even from the Cross Jesus Christ said: "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." Pope John Paul II continue to pray for us and for Poland and young people around the entire world who so loved you during earthly mission on the See of Peter. Pope John Paul II pray too that we all forgive our enemies and those that hurt us on our earthly journey that is only a passing phase that will prepare us for our eternal heavenly kingdom where Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, King of Kings will reign for ever and ever with all the Angels and Saints and Servant of God, John Paul II.
