Catholic leaders to explore challenges, direction of Catholic education in America

.- On Wednesday, Catholic school leaders and educators from around the nation will descend on Washington DC for a conference exploring the challenges and hopes for Catholic education--specifically in primary and high school years--in the face of a changing world. Catholic University of America is sponsoring the event in conjunction with the Atlanta-based Solidarity Association founded by Catholic Philanthropist Frank Hanna.

Lets hope they develop educational materials for disabled to receive the sacraments. Trying to get the sacraments for my 13yr old son with Autism has been completely frustrating! Their needs to be recognition that the sacraments are available to all souls irregardless of their physical defects. I don't understand why there is not a blanket policy for all disabled to be given the sacrements. After all these are the individuals that will see God, while the rest of us are sitting on a rock in the deserts of purgatory.
