.- The Bishops’ Conference of Spain announced Thursday that the publication of a controversial manual on how to teach Islam in schools by SM Publishers, which is operated by the Marianists, was done so with out the knowledge or consent of the bishops.

“In order to avoid confusing the true and much-wanted inter-religious dialogue with relativism and religious indifferentism, and in response to doubts that have been raised in this regard, it should be known that this publication has not been carried out with the knowledge or the consent of the Bishops’ Conference,” the statement indicated.

“Responsibility for the publication of this book and others planned for the same series lies with the Publisher,” the bishops stated.

The book in question, “Discovering Islam,” was put out by the Santa Maria Foundation’s publishing company with financing from the Ministry of Education and Science.

It is past the time when the church speaks out against the teaching of islam to christian children.
Recognising islam as a religion is against all that i have been taught by living.
More will leave the church unless someone finds courage.
Why require courage to speak out against islam?
Thats' the whole point!
