.- The Italian Bishops Conference has published a document suggesting dioceses and parishes make use of the Internet in their work of evangelization. The statement by the bishops proposes that parishes and diocesan chanceries create web sites and establish press offices in order to establish greater lines of communication between pastors and the faithful and to promote the message of the Church.
In addition, the bishops plan to organize press conferences that will be led by young professionals who specialize in media relations.
