Knights to host Guadalupe Festival after Marian Congress

.- A capacity crowd is expected to attend a celebration commemorating the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe to St. Juan Diego.  The Guadalupe Festival, organized by the Knights of Columbus, will take place in Phoenix, and will include presentations, music and prayer.

The festival, which begins at 2 p.m. and will wrap up by 8:30 p.m., is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, the Diocese of Phoenix, the Archdiocese of Mexico, and the Instituto Superior de Estudios Guadalupanos.

Scheduled to make appearances are: Bella actor Eduardo Verástegui, singers Alexander Acha and Filippa Giordano, author Immaculee Ilbagiza, Supreme Knight Carl Anderson, Phoenix Bishop Thomas J. Olmstead,and the postulator for the Cause of the Canonization of St. Juan Diego, Msgr. Eduardo Chavez.

The festival will take place after a two-day Congress on Our Lady of Guadalupe, which will be held in the Jobing.com Arena in Phoenix.
