Operation Rescue says Tiller murder suspect not connected with group

.- The pro-life group Operation Rescue, responding to the murder of Kansas abortionist Dr. George Tiller, said his alleged killer had posted comments to their public blog site but had no connection with the group. Operation Rescue added that it deplores the “criminal actions” of Scott P. Roeder, Tiller’s alleged murderer. The New York Times reported that a Scott Roeder had made comments on Operation Rescue’s blog in the past. One post compared Tiller to the Nazi doctor Josef Mengele, saying Tiller “needs to be stopped before he and those who protect him bring judgment upon our nation.” On Monday Operation Rescue president Troy Newman said: “Scott Roeder has never been a member, contributor, or volunteer with Operation Rescue. Mr. Roeder may have posted to our open blog web site, as have thousands of members of the public, including those with pro-abortion views, but he is not affiliated with this organization.” “The pro-life ethic is to value all human life from the moment of conception until natural death. Operation Rescue has diligently and successfully worked for years through peaceful, legal means, and through the proper channels to see to it that abortionists around the nation are brought to justice. Without due process, there can be no justice.” “In spite of these horrific events, we remain dedicated to working through all peaceful and legal means available to bring an end to the killing of innocent children through abortion,” Newman’s statement concluded. Ralph- who is being hateful? Let's look at the facts:Every prolife group has publicly condemned this act.The message of the prolife groups is "Don't kill your baby". There is nothing hateful about that message. If we believe it is a baby, and we believe it is being killed, then we are under an obligation to defend that life. Any other position is cowardly and dishonest.
And by the way, LEGAL does not always mean RIGHT. Remember that at one time it was legal to enslave people in this country. At one time it was legal to bar blacks from attending certain universities. It was legal to ban Jews from certain universities. The Japanese were legally interned during the war. Legal can be a low standard of right and wrong.

This is mainly for "ralph":
Tiller's death is a tragedy. In what should have been respected as a sanctuary (his church), the murder was done TO him without giving him a chance to defend himself. But let's be accurate. --The "multiple" shootings were two. --Operation Rescue is a pro-life group, not an anti-abortion group. Pro-life groups want to protect ALL life, not only the unborn. --There may not be consensus in society (read: the media and the abortion industry) about when life begins, but the consensus among scientists is clear: human life begins at conception. Tiller's death is, indeed, tragic, but it is the same death done TO the unborn who have no chance to protect themselves from being poisoned in or ripped from what should be their sanctuary. Murder is murder even if you give it another name. The numbers are staggering. There is no way year after year for that many women to be at risk in their pregnancies. If those numbers were accurate, by extropolating backwards, as it were, the human race would have ended centuries ago when widespread abortion was unavailable. This is not a "women's rights" issue. It is a human rights issue. Every child aborted has unique DNA as does every other human being on the planet. Every child should be afforded the same protection we demand for ourselves.

Ralph seems to be the one who is spreading the message of hated. Ralph seems to think that being pro-life makes one ignorant and weak-minded. Does NOW or the other pro-abortion groups have blood on their hands when a mother kills their children? They are for a woman's choice are they not? The killing of Dr Tiller is the DIRECT result of this society's lack for respect for LIFE.

There is a consensus to the beginning of life by those that are pro-life and that is life begins at the point of conception. Everything has a beginning and that includes you and me. We are here because of the actions of our parents. When you were conceived your life began. When your mother felt you move in the womb your body was forming to sustain you outside of the womb and you were definitely alive. You would not exist today without being created in your mother’s womb and the nurturing that took place while in her womb. And as we have no control over the words you choose to share in this posting, no one person or organization has the control to force the hand of another person’s action. It is truly sad when anyone chooses violence or abuse to make their point or to perform abortions of any kind. I pray for Mr. Tiller and Mr. Roeder that through the mercy of God they are forgiven and find forgiveness.

Operation Rescue certainly has blood on their hands on the Tiller murder. It is DIRECTLY a result of their working for almost 20 years to cause a frenzy among the ignorant and weak-minded that the doctor was doing something legal that they didn't agree with. This resulted in MULTIPLE shootings of Dr. Tiller over the years. There is no consensus in society over when life begins, but all agree that someone who has been born IS alive. Right to life? Hah, you've proven what YOU are beyond ANY shadow of a doubt.
Now, let's see you print this, or does that interfere with your message of hatred? ADD A COMMENT (Your e-mail will NOT be published):
