Pope to preside at Mass for the 150th anniversary of the Immaculate Conception

Vatican City, Dec 3, 2004 / 12:00 am (CNA).- The Office of Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff announced today that on Wednesday, December 8, Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary and the 150th anniversary of its dogmatic definition, the Holy Father will preside at 9:30 a.m. in the Vatican Basilica at a Eucharistic concelebration with other members of the College of Cardinals.
