Cardinal Lorenzo Antonetti, President emeritus of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See, Pontifical Delegate emeritus for the Patriarchal Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi, was born on 31 July 1922 Romagnano Sesia, Italy. He was ordained for the Diocese of Novara on 26 May 1945 and holds a licentiate in theology from the Angelicum and a doctorate in canon law from the Gregorian University, Rome.
