Oswald Cardinal Gracias (born December 24, 1944 in Mumbai, India) was ordained a priest of Bombay, India on June 28, 1997. In 1997 he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Bombay and ordained Titular Bishop of Bladia.Three years later he became Archbishop of Agraand in 2006 Archbishop of Bombay. From this position he was elevated toCardinal and installed as Cardinal-Priest of S. Paolo della Croce a “Corviale”on May 10, 2008.
