Canticle to the Holy Spirit

I sing to you
oh spirit of love!
With  all gratitude,
that once more,
the words lack to express
how much I feel.

I sing to you,
so you help me,
to live always,
the fervor of your flames of love.

I sing to you,
calling for the intercession of holy Mary,
who interiorized everything in her heart
asking you to grant me
all the great mysteries and promises of the Redeemer.

I sing to you,
Oh Holy Spirit!
for I wonder always
with the fervor you pour on me
the great mystery of the Annunciation-Incarnation,
so that I love Mary filially
gift of Jesus
to all the sons of the church.

I sing to you gratefully
because without you
I wouldn’t be singing this praise
nor could I consecrate all my actions
seeking to give glory
to Jesus with my life.

I sing to
I raise my supplication,
so that,
through your gifts and presence,
my life might be
a continuing liturgy of love
Amen.
