Théodore-Adrien Cardinal Sarr is the current Archbishop of Dakar and Cardinal-Priestof S. Lucia a Piazza d’Armi. He was born November 28, 1936 in Fadiouth,Senegal and was ordained apriest of Dakaron May 28, 1964. Only 10 years later, at the age of 38, he was ordained bishopof Kaolack. In 2000 he was appointed Archbishop of Dakar and elevated toCardinal in 2007. He was installed as Cardinal-Priest on April 6, 2008.
