Father Solanus Casey, beloved American priest and Capuchin friar, will be beatified on Saturday, Nov. 18 at a Mass in Detroit.

Known for his great faith, attention to the sick, and ability as a spiritual counselor, Casey will be the second American-born male to be beatified. The Mass will be said at Ford Field in Detroit, which can accommodate as many as 60,000.


Tickets to the Mass are no longer available, but there are still ways to catch the Mass on T.V. or online for those who are unable to make the trip.

Streaming online: The beatification Mass will take place on Saturday at 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, and can be found streaming online on EWTN or on Catholic News Agency’s Facebook page.

The Mass can also be found streaming online at the Archdiocese of Detroit.

On TV: The mass will also be broadcast on EWTN and some local T.V. stations in Detroit.
