Following the release of the U.S. State Department’s annual International Religious Freedom report, advocates are calling for action. The report documented abuses in 200 countries and marked anti-blasphemy laws as one of the biggest threats.

Advocates said this opportunity should be used to make efforts to support international religious freedom with action such as visa denials and sanctions against offending countries.
