In case you missed this news a few weeks ago:

During an evening Mass at San Giuseppe all’Aurelio parish in Rome on December 14th, Pope Francis told parents that children’s tears were “the best sermon,” as reported on catholicculture.org.

Addressing parents whose children had been baptized in the last year, Pope Francis said “…children cry, they are noisy, they don’t stop moving. But it really irritates me when I see a child crying in church and someone says they must go out. God’s voice is in a child’s tears: they must never be kicked out of church.”

A good thing to remember the next time your child is making a scene at Mass, or the next time you hear someone else’s child losing it.

Thanks, Pope Francis!
