Wisdom 8:9-16

2 Corinthians 5:14-21
14For the love of Christ controls us, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. 15And he died for all, that those who live might live no longer for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. 16From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once regarded Christ from a human point of view, we regard him thus no longer. 17Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come. 18All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19that is, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. -
Responsorial Psalm
Psalms 67:2-5, 7-8
1May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah 2that thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving power among all nations. 3Let the peoples praise thee, O God; let all the peoples praise thee! 4Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for thou dost judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah 6The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, has blessed us. 7God has blessed us; let all the ends of the earth fear him! -
Gospel
Luke 9:1-6
1And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, 2and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal. 3And he said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics. 4And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” 6And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.
