Over 200 California schools have signed up for homosexual curriculum

.- A homosexual activist group is claiming that groups at dozens of high schools and middle schools in California, including at least one Catholic school, have signed up to show and discuss its explicit films. The films include one in which a boy “comes out” by wearing his mother’s bikini. Another film uses Native American spirituality to depict lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people as being “two-spirit” people. Parts of the discussion materials encourage students to question whether religious and cultural celebrations such as bar mitzvahs wrongly discourage homosexual and transgender lifestyles, the Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) reports. PJI said it was not clear whether the films are being shown predominantly during class time or in meetings of LGBT student clubs. “They are clearly being marketed for showing in class and in school assemblies,” PJI says in a press release. The films and accompanying school materials are being distributed by Youth in Motion, a partnership between the Gay-Straight Alliance Network and the LGBT media group Frameline. “Our goal is to give student activists and teachers new tools to educate their peers about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender history and culture (and have fun doing it!). And we believe that an inclusive curriculum is one step to creating truly safe and welcoming schools,” Youth in Motion says on its website. Trying to draw on the controversy of Proposition 8 in California, Youth in Motion promotes its videos on “hot topics” such as “marriage equality.” The group claims over 250 schools have registered for the program. The list of registered schools includes high schools throughout California and some middle and junior high schools. At least one elementary school is on the list. Many of the schools are located in the Bay Area and Southern California, but the Sacramento area and small communities are also affected. Notre Dame High School, a Catholic girl’s school in Belmont, Calif. sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, is on the list of schools registered for the Youth in Motion curriculum. “PJI will continue to investigate whether any opt-out laws are being violated by the showing of these films,” said PJI president Brad Dacus. “Any parents whose opt-out requests are denied by their child's school should contact PJI immediately.” Subscriber comments:

I am totally not surprised that "Catholic" schools, mainly staffed by heretics, are accepting this utterly Satanic curriculum. This is all part of the war on family. People look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them that I home-school my child, but just look at this heinous rubbish? California is just the testing ground for many abominations that eventually spread east.

This just seems ridiculous to me. The main thing that makes really gets me is that if we were to try to bring any type of prayer into any public high school, we would get in trouble. Just last week, they tried to convict an athletic director and a principal for praying over a team. I just don't understand how almost every other human right is respected by schools, other than prayer. HOW CAN WE CHANGE THIS!? I'm a 17 year-old senior at a public high school in OH and I want to make a difference. Help me!

IF YOU WANT TO EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN ABOUT THE HOMOSEXUAL LIFESTYLE, ALL YOU HAVE DO IS LOOK IN THE BIBLE. YOU WILL FIND WHY IT'S NOT ACCEPTED IN THE SIGHT OF "GOD". 1 COR. CHAPTER 6 AND7, ALSO ROMANS CHAPTER 1. THE BIBLE, A VERY GOOD EDUCATIONAL TOOL.

If this is a true and fair website, dedicated to sharing the thoughts and views of it's readers, I sincerely hope my words will be published and given fair consideration. I welcome any discussion of what I have to say.
Educating children on LGBT matters is no more propaganda than teaching children to eat well, exercise, and be kind to one another. Yes, school does exist to provide academic learning, but it is also a place for children to begin to socialize with one another and ask questions about the world around them. Don't get me wrong, I don't think school is the only place for learning. The home, family, church, real-world experience, the news- all of these have roles in how children (even adults) build their beliefs and understandings.
Please don't encourage your children to "ignore" or "distrust" but to "learn" and "understand". I'm quite sure that nowhere in the Bible does it say to "hate thy neighbor".

This is a true picture of an inverted world. Vice is honoured and applauded. This culture is really bad. I don't have an arguement to posit either from the Church or Natural Law. However, I am simply convinced that this is wrong.
LORD; DO YOU NOT CARE THAT WE PERISH?

This headline may be a bit premature. Take a look at the California Catholic Daily website and the comments on this same story. A teacher writes in to say that what this homosexual group claiming more than they've accomplished so far. They are just sending out sales material for this stuff to all the schools and then claiming that these schools will be teaching their propaganda.
I don't have all the facts but I trust the person who said on the California Catholic Daily site that she's a teacher at a Catholic school there, that they received the sales brochures but have no intention of buying the whole deal.
And always remember, homosexuals activists will always play the martyr, plead ignorant and play tricks to get to their real goal, which is homosexual indoctrination.

You can thank the Judicial System, ACLU, interpretation of the "Hate Laws", liberals , school administrators and many others for allowing that to happen. The only way to counbteract that is to become vigilant, prayerful and proactive in a Christ like way to thwart that movement.
The next thing is they'll allow all sorts of subjects to appear in the clasroom that are not really educational
but provided to garner support for radical causes, untruths and misinformation.

We all need to be in prayer for the state of the culture our children and grandchildren will live in. I find it hard to believe that a Catholic school could get away with supporting this curriculum. Wouldn't you agree? Is there not a system in place to stop such things? I don't know much about it, but there must be something. ?

This is scary. These schools that are allowing it should be made public. All the parents that have kids in these schools should not only pull their kids out of classes that day, but tell the schools they will pull their kids out permanently if this is what the curriculum is going to be like. I wonder if there is a list we can get. If these schools send info home to the parents about this, I have a feeling a lot of kids will be absent that day.

This is simply satanic to corrupt the young and sexualize them in this manner.
Schools should teach ACADEMICS ONLY.
Sadly, however, it appears liberal perverts have taken over the education system.
When one considers that the sexual abuse problem in public schools is supposedly '100 times worse' (Hofstra University expert claim) than any clergy abuse, statistically, it's now quite apparent that the fox is guarding the chicken coup. GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS NOW.

This is the reason I offered homeschooling to my high school aged child, who agreed, and loved it. The result was, she graduated HS one year early, and was awarded her AA the following semester. She just transferred into a four year college, as a Junior, at the age of 18.
Parents are leaving the public programs in droves, and their children are benefiting, not just because they are no longer subject to the state's 'social engineering' programs.

Just more evidence that the talk of tolerance and pluralism is mere rhetoric to be used until adequate political power is achieved. The gay activists are the ones shoving their views and lifetyles down everyone's throats. The reason Johnny can't read is that school is too busy teaching him what to believe.

If there is legitimate showing of GLBT propaganda to school children, than prayer in school should also be allowed. Discrimination against people who pray is also discriminatory and a hate crime. PRAYER is a HUMAN RIGHT!
GBLT people hate religious people pushing moral principles in their direction, but they think nothing of pushing their GBLT agendas down everybody else's throat.
