God comes to people in different ways. Muslims, Jews, Christians--we are all the children of Abraham and followers of the one God. Of course I believe that Christ is the fullness of the truth, but I will NOT shame this woman's compassion and openness by presuming to tell her or anyone of a different faith that they are not saved. Those who live the law of God which is LOVE, will ultimately be with God. Woe to those who judge the hearts of others.
Please see love for what it is. Rhanda loves God. Fr. Bruno loves God. We are all united in love.
We need to help each other defend our right to worship in peace with out the State telling us that God is not allowed. Shame on the EU for using "tolerance" as an excuse for intolerance.

I am quite shocked to read some of the comments, why do you want to convert people to your religion and not just learn to accept them for what they are.
Why not try and understand why her father was brutally attacked by six men for futile reasons and ended up a long time in hospital in June, but we cannot ignore that these are most probably catholic racists.
These people are in Italy over 22 years now, when will they be accepted without trying to be converted ?
just write "Randa Ghazy corriere" in google and you will find an article about the story in the Italian biggest newspaper "Corriere".

Francis of Assisi met the Sultan and both found erspect for the other. We have evidence that that blessing of Francis (May the Lord bless you and keep you, etc) was intended for the Sultan in a atime of great peril and strife for him. Neither Francis nor the Sultan converted the other, but both learned deeper respect. C.S. Lewis's The Last Battle hsa a similar message. My the Lord give you peace. (sfo stands for Secular Franciscan Order.

We are talking about a Muslim girl being guided towards Christianity without parents permission by a Catholic priest.
This girl calls the priest “father” and Jesus is refereed to as “Christ”, we all know that Jesus is a normal prophet in Islam, so how ever could they call him “Christ” and it would be blasphemy to pray to a crucifix for them, they are only allowed to respect it.
This girl has lived with a crucifix on the school wall's for all her school life, 10.000 hours of crucifix subconscious brainwashing.
I would like to ask Christians if they would be happy to find out that their children have been led towards another faith without their permission ?
No one in Italy wants to stop you from being a Catholic, we just would like to be respected and have a pluralistic society.

I'm also a Muslim with a Catholic education, from nursery (kindergarten) to College I was taught by nuns and priests. Like parents, I was brought up and loved by both faiths.
Even though I am a practicing Muslim, I will always remember Catholics with great affection and familiarity.

Outstanding ! The way she told it like
it really is.Why this war between all the religions ? There is only one God .
People can call Him by any name they
choose ..there is only one. They can use
Jahova ,God,Jahweh ,Allah whatever ,but
there will never be any more than one .
So wake up people. There are no religions
in the next dimension .We take with us
what we put together here .

While I applaud this womans' defense of the cruxifix we must remember that she is still in a false religion and her soul is still in jeopardy. That's why we must pray that she, and all muslims, will be converted to Christ, baptized, and will enter the true church of Christ which of course is the Catholic Church...outside of which there is no salvation!

Helen, I hope she does too, but Im pretty sure God is well pleased with her and no matter if she converts on this side of the veil or not, she is living her Faith as she feels is honorable to God. Im sure God will be welcoming her home on the other side of the veil.

This reminds of of what Jesus said to the centurion: "Which Jesus hearing, marvelled: and turning about to the multitude that followed him, he said: Amen I say to you, I have not found so great faith, not even in Israel" Luke 7:9.

Oh,the Power of Love! Fr. Bruno, with simple Christ-like love, planted seeds in the young hearts of Randa and her brother. This article is evidence that those seeds are growing fruit with the unlimited potential of producing peace between people of different faiths. God's hand is upon Randa!Future Catholic Christians may see the canonization of Saint Randa, patron of Muslim converts.

What a wonderful testimony of what one holy priest could do! In this Year for Priests, let us ask the Lord to bring forth more men like Father Bruno. Thank you Ghazy for your love for our church. You are a wonderful example of what our God of Love could do in the heart of the young.
God bless you immensely
Love and prayers for your future plans
