A few decades ago, Cardinal Razinger addressed the University of Toronto staff and I had the luck of attending with one of my former professors. I was delighted with the gentile manner of this great cardinal, the profound truth he expressed and thereafter always rejected the image of the harsh man the media made him out to be. Thanks for this article which certainly conveys a true image of our present Holy Father.

It was very nice to read about the personal/human side of the Pope Benedict XI. I can well understand his love of animals.
