New Vatican Secretary of State took job after seeing John Paul II in dream

Milan, Italy, Sep 1, 2006 / 12:00 am (CNA).- It took a dream of Pope John Paul II to convince Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone to accept Pope Benedict’s invitation to succeed Cardinal Angelo Sodano as the Vatican’s Secretary of State.

Cardinal Bertone recounted the dream to journalists at his departure ceremonies from Genoa Tuesday at the Sanctuary of Madonna della Guardia. The cardinal, who has been serving as Archbishop of Genoa, will begin as Secretary of State Sept. 15.

The cardinal explained that he was fearful when Pope Benedict told him about his intentions to name him Secretary of State.

“When he asked me to accept, I got the shivers and replied, “I need to think hard.”

“During the night, between Aug. 15 and 16, I saw John Paul II in a dream: he was serene and smiling,” he continued. “We spoke about young people and I told him that World Youth Day was his most beautiful invention. Then I spoke with him about my new appointment and I asked for his blessing. He told me, ‘of course.’ I kneeled and he blessed me.”

Cardinal Bertone said when he recounted this dream to Pope Benedict XVI, the current Pope said: “Well, then, you don’t have to be afraid.”

“The Pope then confirmed his appointment and I accepted,” the cardinal concluded.

I believe that Pope John Paul did appear in a dream. Heaven communicates with us in this way sometimes. We all need to try to follow in Pope John Paul's footsteps.

It is indeed necessary for deliverance prayer as we are really battling the evil spirits. Also, I agree with Zeny Peralta who says we need to seek deliverance through the Sacred Heart of Jesus and The Immaculate Heart of Mary. By having your home enthroned with The Two Hearts, you will feel a difference in the atmosphere of your home. The overnight Vigil in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary is so necessary for the defeat of the devil. It is a wonderful act of reparation to Jesus. Try it, you will like it!

This is in fact diabolical confusion. Now, is not the Holy Ghost who inspired the cardinals to a political position within the Church but, a deth pope. The message it is clear: they want JPII to be canonized as soon as possible, to support and advance they thesis, the New Church and the new Mass (NOM) along with all the sodomy in the Church it is a blessing from VCII.

The most fundamental action to take to combat these enemies around us is to consecrate our families to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and the enthrone homes to the Alliance of the Two Hearts. This ministry is promoting the apostolate of Communion of Reparation every First Friday-Saturday in consideration of the Peace Plan of Our Lady of Fatima.

Deliverance Ministry should be at the top of the list for the Curia. Madonna is an example of diabilically possessed. Rome is finally acknowledging and training. we need more training here in the US and every diocese should have an exorcist assigned by their Bishops.

I agree with Mr. Jack Leone. The Church and the Curia in particular must address these issues of possession and obsession. This is where our real enemy is and the enemy of the Church. It's the enemy you can't see and it's just as real and dangerous as a physical enemy that you can see. With everything that is going on in the world we need more prayer and more praying priests and exorcists.

I hope that the reforming of the Curia becomes a reality.

Bishops must acknowledge and help individuals who are diabolically possessed as well as ridding demons from homes and other places by appointing priests to deal with these matters. This is their duty. Christ did so in the Gospels. With occult, satanism, and esoteric sects and cults being prevalent in our society, we need exorcists and priest to be trained in this essential field.
