CNA Newsroom Discovering God’s Plan

This week on the CNA Newsroom, you’re going to hear the voice of Jim McNulty. Jim is Catholic, and he was one of three people held hostage in 2010 at the Discovery Network headquarters in Maryland.

Jim was held hostage for about four hours before he made a run for it - and survived. But those four hours left a deep mark on Jim. Within hours of his escape, Jim began to show signs of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Jim talks about experience as a hostage; navigating PTSD; and developing his Catholic ministry to other trauma victims.
