Bishop Jackels celebrates Mass unifying Kansas parishes

Mar 14, 2009 - 02:10 pm .- The Hispanic parishioners of Wellington who strived to keep and grow in their faith for nearly 60 years were honored last month, at a Mass celebrated to unify the two parishes.  In his homily, Bishop Michael O. Jackels noted that there were mixed feelings about merging the parishes.

President Clinton’s ‘confused’ embryo remarks raise credibility questions

The president has made interview remarks incorrectly implying that embryos are not fertilized.

Sebelius nomination ‘source of greatest embarrassment,’ Archbishop Burke says

Kathleen Sebelius’ nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services is "sad" and "the source of greatest embarrassment" because she has repeatedly betrayed her Catholic faith through her "well known" support for legal abortion, Archbishop Raymond L. Burke has commented.
