Organized by the Napa Institute, a crowd of an estimated 2,000 people gathered in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan for a Holy Hour and Mass on Oct. 14.
“We are here to speak about Carlo. As you know, the canonization was delayed. But it was a beautiful surprise because now we have an American pope!” Acutis said.
Organized by the California-based Napa Institute, officials estimated that 3,500 people gathered for a Holy Hour, rosary, and Mass.
The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage marked one of its most anticipated highlights Sunday in New York City, culminating with a crossing of the Brooklyn Bridge.
