Maren Latham grew up in a Mormon family with deep roots in the Mormon religion. Her mother’s side could trace their lineage all the way back to the Mormon religion’s founding in the United States, in the 1830s.

She describes her childhood as safe and happy. But as she grew older, Maren began to have doubts about several practices that are central to the Mormon religion.

She left the Mormon religion a few years after making her first visit to a Mormon temple.

This week on CNA Newsroom, Maren shares her story of leaving the Mormon religion and finding a home in the Catholic Church.
