Faith on the Quad '25 Random Things About Being Catholic in College'

Many have participated in the Facebook frenzy: "25 Random Things About Me." I have yet to succumb to this fad and spill my secrets to all, but St. Paul encouraged me to do otherwise: "With such affection for you, we were determined to share with you, not only the Gospel of God, but our very selves as well (1 Thessalonians 2:8) ." Let’s share 25 Random Things about ourselves with the world.

1. Evangelization is tough.

2. Having complete trust in God is even tougher…but worth it.

3. The way to our hearts is good food and fellowship.

4. The Claddagh ring is the new chastity ring.

5. Dancing? Fo Sho.

6. We are all different.

7. The biggest battle we will ever face is the attack on human life.

8. Pope Benedict is the Sam Bradford of our team.

9. Dating is both fun and serious.

10. It can be hard to find other Catholics to share in accountability, but it’s a search worth investing in because we need support.

11. Our parties are rocking…and moral.

12. We are all just doing our best.

13. Sometimes our professors don’t like us, simply because we are Catholic.

14. We are intelligent.
