On Tuesday, June 29, Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul, Apostles, the Pope will celebrate the Eucharist at 6 p.m. in St. Peter's Square, with Bartholomew I, ecumenical patriarch of Constantinople in attendance.
The celebration will take place 40 years after the historic embrace of Pope Paul VI and Patriarch Atenagoras I in Jerusalem in January of 1964.
