A woman walking into a San Antonio abortion clinic was saved on Saturday by a pro-life protestor after a man jumped out of the trunk of her car and fired gun shots at her.
“When the pro-lifer scared away the shooter, he saved two lives that day,” Cathy Nix, acting executive director of San Antonio Coalition for Life, told CNA.
Outside Alamo Women's Reproductive Services a woman was conversing with a pro-life volunteer as she was on her way into the abortion clinic May 15. As they were speaking, a man jumped out of the trunk of the woman’s car, pulled out a gun, and began shooting at her, San Antonio police said.
Police said the protestor, who was counseling the woman, had a firearm on him and shot back at the man. The protester had a license to carry the pistol, police said. It was reported no one was injured in the shooting.
