EWTN is a global, Catholic Television, Catholic Radio, and Catholic News Network that provides catholic programming and news coverage from around the world. Catholic News Agency is a service of EWTN News. The Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) was launched on Aug. 15, 1981, by Mother Angelica, a cloistered nun, who had no idea she would one day found the largest religious media network in the world.
